I did a lot of cutting board and utensil education this weekend. It keeps the wood softened, conditioned and better for your knives. It also helps prevent your board from drying out and splitting.

I like to oil my wooden cutting boards at the beginning of each month—it’s a little ritual to keep them looking fresh and lasting longer. Well... I'm totally guilty.

We had a successful turnout for today at the Eastmark Family Market. Tomorrow is our last market before Christmas. Last week I learned that children like to touch things that are on the table. This week I decided to use some wood confetti they could touch rather than the delicate products for sale. It worked well! I gave many away as well.
