It’s the final week of our PTSD Awareness Month special honey based ciders, and we are wrapping it up with a a spicy one!

TIGGER
While many people know Tigger as the bouncy tiger of the Hundred Acre Wood, his character can reflect something many people living with trauma experience: hypervigilance, restlessness, and difficulty slowing down.

PTSD isn’t always visible. Sometimes it looks like staying busy every moment of the day, constantly seeking distractions, or feeling uncomfortable when things become too quiet. For some, slowing down means making space for thoughts and emotions they’ve worked hard to avoid.

One of the things we hope the taproom can be is a place where people can find both connection and a moment to simply be. A place to share a conversation, enjoy good food and drink, and feel safe enough to let their guard down, even if only for a little while.
Healing doesn’t happen overnight, but learning to find moments of peace can be an important part of the journey.

What makes Tigger special isn’t just his energy—it’s that he’s accepted and valued by his friends exactly as he is. They celebrate his strengths while making room for the challenges that come with them. And sometimes, that’s exactly what people need most.

There is hope beyond trauma, and with support, it’s possible to find balance, connection, and a renewed sense of calm.

CIDER

STORY
Eeyore is often portrayed as withdrawn, discouraged, and carrying a heaviness that never seems far away. While many people know him as the gloomy donkey, his character can reflect something many dealing with trauma experience: emotional numbness and persistent feelings of sadness.

PTSD isn’t always visible. Sometimes it looks like feeling disconnected from the people and activities you once loved. It can make joy feel distant, relationships harder to maintain, and even simple moments feel exhausting.

One of the things we hope the taproom can be is a place where no one has to carry that weight alone. A place to connect, share a conversation, enjoy a food and drink, and be reminded that community matters.

Healing doesn’t happen overnight, but meaningful connection can be an important part of the journey.

What makes Eeyore special isn’t his sadness—it’s that even on his hardest days, his friends continue to show up for him. And sometimes, that’s exactly what people need most.

There is hope beyond trauma, and with support, it’s possible to move from surviving to truly living again.

It’s week two of our PTSD Awareness Month special honey based ciders, and this week is Prickly Pear and Honey.

PIGLET
Did you ever notice how Piglet is always looking over his shoulder, expecting something to go wrong, or worrying about what might happen next?

Piglet’s constant nervousness and tendency to expect danger can resemble hyper vigilance, a common symptom of PTSD. After experiencing trauma, the brain can become stuck in protection mode, scanning for threats even when you’re safe. What once helped someone survive can make it difficult to fully relax, trust their surrounding, or find a sense of peace.

Part of what we hope our taproom can be for each of you is a place where you can let your guard down. A place to gather with friends, share stories, find community, and experience moments of safety and connection. While our taproom isn’t a therapist’s office, feeling seen, supported, and welcomed can be an important part of the healing journey.

Just like Piglet’s adventures through the Hundred Acre Wood, courage isn’t the absence of fear. Sometimes it’s simply taking the next step despite it.

There is hope beyond trauma,
and with support, it’s possible to move from surviving to truly living again.

Surfing in the Arizona desert? Yeah, we’re here for it 🤙

Our American Apple Pie cider continues to make waves, and is now pouring at Revel Surf Park!

Endless waves, Arizona sunshine, and a crisp cider waiting for you after the session.

Whether you’re standing up on your first wave or chasing your best ride yet, Revel Surf has created something pretty incredible right here in the Valley. And after a day on the water, an ice-cold American Apple Pie just hits different.

Our Liquid Apple Pie is caramelized apple juice, a touch of warm pie spice, and just the right amount of sweetness, it’s basically the reward your surf session earned.

Today starts our weekly release of honey based ciders for PTSD Awareness Month.

WEEK 1: POOH

Did you ever notice how Pooh’s tendency to drift, lose focus, and seem disconnected from what’s happening around him can resemble dissociation?

Dissociation isn’t always talked about as a core symptom of post traumatic stress, but it’s a common experience for many trauma survivors. In overwhelming moments, the mind can create distance from what’s happening as a way to cope. Some describe it as feeling detached from their body, their surroundings, and often themselves.

Part of what we hope our taproom can be for each of you is a place where you can reconnect. A place to gather with friends, share stories, find community, and experience the power of belonging. While our taproom isn’t a therapists office, meaningful connection is an important part of any healing journey, and we’re honored to create space for it.

Just like Pooh’s journey through the Hundred Acre Wood, healing often happens one small step at a time.

There is hope beyond trauma, and with support, it’s possible to feel present and connected again.

CIDER
A honey apple cider that has notes of tart green apple, combined with sweet and floral hints of honey.
