🍎 Meet Our Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Christiaens!

Mrs. Christiaens is one of our fantastic 3rd grade teachers and is beginning her 3rd year of teaching, and her first year at Meridian. She loves those special “light bulb” moments when something finally clicks for her students—it’s what makes teaching so rewarding!

💛 Fun Fact: When she was in high school, she broke both of her ankles at the same time!

🎧 Outside of school, she enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, traveling, staying active, music, gardening, crafting, gaming, volunteering, and listening to audiobooks.

🍎 Meet Our Staff Spotlight: Kimmy Rhode!

Kimmy is one of our wonderful Kindergarten teachers beginning her 3rd year of teaching. She believes every child is capable of learning and deserves a safe, supportive classroom environment. Her favorite part of teaching is building strong connections with her students—she knows trust is the foundation for meaningful learning and loves being a Mustang!

💛 Fun Fact: Kimmy is a big SpongeBob fan!

🌼 Outside of school, she enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, traveling, staying active, music, gardening, crafting, gaming, and volunteering in the community.

🍎 Meet Our Staff Spotlight: Kelsey Boivin!

Kelsey is part of our SPICE II K–1 team and brings 12 years of experience supporting students. She loves watching her students grow in their learning and begin to use the tools they’ve been taught to become more independent. Kelsey is passionate about making sure every student feels seen, supported, and confident in how they learn best.

💛 Fun Fact: As a child, Kelsey modeled for the Pony Pals book series and was illustrated as a character in several of the books!

Morgan is one of our amazing Kindergarten teachers with 6 years of experience in the classroom. She loves watching her students grow throughout the year—it never ceases to amaze her! Morgan also enjoys building connections with her students and seeing the world through their eyes, which brings her so much joy and hope.

Heather is our Building Blocks 3s teacher and brings 3 years of experience to our early childhood program. She believes school should be a fun and welcoming place where children can explore, play, and be themselves while learning something new every day. She is passionate about creating a safe and joyful environment for her students to grow and thrive.

Diana is part of our Advantage Preschool team and brings 8 years of experience supporting our youngest learners. She is passionate about nurturing social-emotional growth by helping children build confidence, form positive relationships, and learn how to manage their feelings. Through guided play and meaningful interactions, she fosters kindness, independence, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

🍎 Meet Our Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Berry!

Mrs. Berry is one of our wonderful 1st grade teachers and is celebrating her 24th year in education! She loves welcoming a new group of students each year and building a classroom filled with love, comfort, and confidence. Her students quickly become her “Berry Bunch,” a special group she cherishes long after they leave her class.

💛 Fun Fact: Mrs. Berry spent a semester studying in London, England during college!
