GCU sets the tone for what is shaping up to be a competitive fall season.

The Lopes are wasting no time building on a successful spring. With a strong incoming class of recruits, GCU looks bigger, stronger, and faster than ever.

Coach Sean O’Leary’s side looks focused, hungry, and ready to hit — and we won’t have to wait long to see them in action.

This Saturday, GCU hosts its first game of the fall against none other than cross-state rival University of Arizona in the annual Freshman/Sophomore Showdown.

Young talent. Rivalry rugby. A first look at what the program is building for the season ahead.

It’s going to be fun.

It was great seeing some familiar faces, watching new players get involved, and seeing the energy around the club as another season gets underway.
