According to the most recent October 2023 Federal Reserve Bank Survey, the commercial and industrial loan sectors are experiencing a trend of tightening lending standards.

Lamar Advertising Reports Strong Third Quarter Results
Lamar Advertising Company (LAMR) today reported net revenue of $542.6 million for the third quarter of 2023, an increase of 2.9% over the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA increased 5.8% to $265.7 million, and diluted AFFO per share increased 0.5% to $2.04.
"We demonstrated impressive operating leverage in the third quarter, increasing revenue while decreasing expenses on a year-over-year, acquisition-adjusted basis," said Lamar chief executive Sean Reilly. "The broader advertising environment remains challenging. Nevertheless, based on current bookings, we are pacing to reach or even slightly exceed the upper end of our revised guidance for full-year diluted AFFO per share."

Adjusted EBITDA increased 5.8%

In the second quarter of 2023, the Out of Home (OOH) advertising industry has shown remarkable growth. According to the Out of Home Advertising Association of America (OAAA), quarterly revenue surged by 2.2%, reaching a whopping $2.68 billion, making it the second-highest quarterly revenue in OOH history.
The digital OOH sector, which accounts for over a third of total sales, experienced an impressive 12.9% growth compared to the previous year. Notably, the Transit category led the charge with a 7.7% increase from the same period in 2022.
