You don’t wanna ever forget that: it’s your nothingness that He is after. He is not looking for personal greatness. He wants you to be low in your own eyes and broken, just like His disciples are going to be at the end of all this.

MFBC has been blessed with Arnie Rubey’s service in our elder board for several years. Today, Arnie blessed us again by teaching us how to prioritize things in life as he announced his resignation for the purpose of better caring for the health needs of his beloved wife, Kay. All of us at MFBC want to say “Thank you” for your teaching, example, and service.

But we request of you, brethren, that you appreciate those who diligently labor among you, and have charge over you in the Lord and give you instruction.
