Ironclad Boxing

This is one of my favorite fights I ever got to see live. Dusty Warren vs Michael little. I don’t know Michael but he came to fight that night and came out guns blazing. The ol Boss man weathered the storm and showed how tough he is and never quit never surrender attitude and came back and got the TKO stoppage. I have a poster of Dusty celebrating this fight hanging in my gym as a reminder it’s not how you start it’s how you finish!! Good on you Boss man!!!

Scripture:

“But I say to you who listen: Love your enemies, do what is good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.”
— Luke 6:27–28

Jesus said something here that is really hard to live out.

Anybody can be good to somebody who’s good to them.

But Jesus tells us to love the person who doesn’t like us.

Do good to the person who has done us wrong.

Bless the person talking bad about us.

Pray for the person who hurt us.

That doesn’t mean pretending what they did was okay. It doesn’t mean you can’t have boundaries.

It means we don’t let somebody else’s hate decide who we become.

Following Jesus means sometimes responding completely differently than the world expects.

When somebody disrespects you, everything inside you might want to give it right back.

Jesus says, “Follow Me instead.”

That’s real strength.

Not being controlled by anger.
Not needing revenge.
Not returning hate for hate.

And we can’t do that very well on our own.

We need Jesus to change our hearts.

Prayer:

King Jesus, help me love people when it’s difficult. When I’m hurt or angry, keep bitterness from taking over my heart. Help me respond in a way that looks like You—even when it’s hard. Amen.

🥊 ANYBODY CAN HIT BACK. STRENGTH IS LETTING JESUS CHANGE HOW YOU RESPOND.

Ironclad has some big news coming for W&J Fight Promotions Nov 14th. Some pro am 12 oz gloves fights about to be dropped.

You don’t have to fight alone.

There will be rounds in life that knock you down. Rounds where you’re tired, hurting, and wondering if you’ve got enough left to stand back up.

But when you belong to Christ, you are never on that canvas alone.

He doesn’t promise you’ll never get knocked down. He promises He’ll never leave you there.

“For though a righteous person falls seven times, he will get up.” — Proverbs 24:16 CSB

Get up. Keep fighting. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
