CUSTER COUNTY, Idaho, Custer County Sheriff is looking for a hunter who has not returned home when he was expected: Kelly King.
Search teams have been looking around the Morgan Creek/Gooseberry area.
The sheriff asks that you avoid the area as teams continue their search. They hope to preserve any tracks or evidence King may have left behind.
If you know anything about what may have happened to King or where he is, call the
Custer County Sheriff-Idaho at (208) 879-2232.
During the ongoing search for Mr. King, we would ask that the public stay out of the purple area because we are using helicopters with thermal imaging capabilities. It is helpful to have the area clear so we do not get mislead with thermal identifiers in the area.( See photo)

The Search for Kelly King is continuing today. Resources for todays search include Custer County Search and Rescue Challis and Mackay Units, Idaho Mountain Search & Rescue Unit I Idaho Fish and Game (IDFG) Salmon Search & Rescue Air Idaho Rescue, Air Force Rescue Coordination Center (AFRCC) and numerous Civilian volunteers.
No areas are being requested to be clear as there will be no thermal imaging operations today.
We thank everyone the community for their thoughts and prayers for Mr. King and his family, as well as the outpouring of offers for assistance from the the Citizens of Custer County.

When you’re dealing with situations where security matters, you need people who are knowledgeable, prepared, precise, and completely focused on the mission. These guys brought all of that and more.
Their professionalism and willingness to step up really stood out on the mission we just completed. They provided the security and protection we needed, and they did it with professionalism and precision. They’ve also offered to support us in future human trafficking and missing persons cases, which we truly appreciate.

UPDATE – BRAYDEN HAS BEEN LOCATED
The Pocatello Police Department is happy to report that 11-year-old Brayden has been located safely.
We would like to sincerely thank the Pocatello community and everyone who shared the information, kept an eye out, and remained diligent in helping us locate Brayden.

POCATELLO, Idaho — The Pocatello Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 11-year-old Brayden, a child with special needs who is currently missing.
Brayden was last seen in the area of 1400 Paramount Street in Pocatello at approximately 1700 hours. He was last known to be wearing a blue shirt with a yellow logo.
Anyone who sees Brayden or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Pocatello Police Department immediately at 208-234-6100 and provide his location and direction of travel.
If you believe Brayden is in immediate danger, call 911.
