Supply and demand people! The demand for existing homes is just as strong.
Home prices also increased in June with the overall median sales price reaching a new high at $375,000. This was 6.3% higher than in June of 2019 and less than a percent higher than the previous high from April 2020 of $374,900. Prices continue to be driven by a lack of existing supply compared to demand, and more than one-third of all home sales represented by new construction. Learn more at https://bit.ly/2WiP2cY.

Sometimes, even unfortunate situations can remind you of the good in the world.
Sometimes, you encounter people who are truly good. Tonight I was humbled by the amazing, generous nature of the owners of the home my clients were going to buy. I say going to because my clients had to back out for personal reasons. I was amazed at the generous nature of both parties involved. Even though they were entitled to it, the sellers offered the give my clients their entire earnest money deposit back. My clients showed a true sense of fair play by refusing to take the full amount back, even though they needed the funds. There really are GOOD and HONEST people in this world, and even though this transaction didn't work out, I was so glad to be able to see the good, generous, and honest natures of everyone involved.
