Cliff-it's just the best when he jumps from one end of the playroom couch to the other while effortlessly holding a ball in his mouth, all while checking in with me to make sure I see his epic skills! It's as if he's saying "ok, watch me again...one more time?!"

I would say you wouldn’t notice his cuddly side right away, but it’s adorable. He loves to feel you close. Even if you stop on a walk while he’s sniffing out a bird or squirrel, he will settle and sit super close to your leg, just wanting to be near you.

He is such a good boy, and his smile just makes you SMILE and forget all your worries. You're the best Cliffy boy.

Thank you to BBBR Foster Marti for spending time with Toe. Marti writes, "Note to potential adopting family - Please, if possible, put a bit of money aside to buy Toe a sweater, lol. His fur is still sparse and hopefully growing back. I like the windows open at night and wondered if he was a bit cool, as he doesn't have much of a coat. I got out a sweater, just to see if he would tolerate it. He LOVES it. I take it off for our walks and during the day when he lays out in the sun. Then, I will pick up his sweater and ask if he wants it. Most of the time he comes up to me and sits patiently while I put the sweater on. If he doesn't come up, I put the sweater away and ask him later. He is SO CUTE!! And such a good, sweet boy.

We have been working on crating.

After walks, Toe gets some crate time. Mostly, he goes in with direction and sometimes a gentle tug to guide him. It doesn't take much.

Toe runs outside if I vacuum (he hates the vacuum), so I vacuum down stairs and crate him upstairs, and crate him downstairs if I vacuum upstairs. I do some chores going back and forth in front of him at times. He doesn't cry or whine. He just patiently looks at me. I hope to teach him the crate is a safe space, that he is ok in there and he will be let out.

Before, when I put him in the crate, I would give him a treat, but he wouldn't eat it until I let him out, so treats were not a motivation for him. I tried giving some of his treats at random during the day, placing them in the kennel and walking away, but then I decided to make a game out of it and he loves it. The new game starts by having Toe sit on his dog bed at Place. Then I break up a treat and hide the pieces in different corners and folds of his blanket that is inside the kennel. Then, he gets told Yes, and he runs over to the kennel blanket and starts sniffing and nudging the blanket until he finds all the treat pieces. And that was a big step for Toe. He loves this game and now sits in his kennel sometimes on his own and eats his collagen chews there.

Toe also got his first bath here this week. I don't think he was overly fond of it, but stood patiently and I was able to take his collar off as he didn't try to jump out of the tub or otherwise escape.

Toe is a good housemate. He has not had any accidents, uses the dog door like a pro now and minds his manners. Very house ready....just looking for his home."

I’ve gotten to spend some time with this adorable little white bully girl at the rescue, and I just adore her personality. 🥹

First of all, can we talk about that little spot over her eye?! 😍 It makes her face absolutely irresistible. But Precious is more than just a cute face — she’s spunky, playful, and gets SO excited when she’s having fun. She has this little burst of energy and personality that makes her so much fun to spend time with. 😂❤️

She’s one of those dogs that I really want people to notice, because I know her forever family is out there somewhere. 🏡

Dale would like you to know that he has a very serious relationship with balls. 🎾

Ball? YES.
Toy? YES.
Another toy? ABSOLUTELY YES.
Basically, if it can be thrown, squeaked, chewed, or carried around, Dale is ALL IN. 😂

But here’s the plot twist… when Dale isn’t busy living his best toy-obsessed life, he is the sweetest little gentleman on a leash. 🥹❤️

This cute brindle bully walks like a dream, doesn’t pull, and is so gentle when taking treats. He’s affectionate, silly, playful, and just an all-around really good boy.

So if you’re looking for a dog who can go from “BALL!!! BALL!!! BALL!!!” 🎾🤪 to “Why yes, I would love a nice polite stroll, thank you.” 🥰… Dale might be your guy!

This handsome boy completed his final heartworm treatment injection today, and we are so happy to say that he is doing GREAT! 🐾❤️
Heartworm disease is a serious, potentially life-threatening condition caused by worms that live in the heart, lungs, and blood vessels. The good news? Heartworm disease is preventable!
🦟 Even dogs that spend most of their time indoors can be bitten by an infected mosquito.
🩺 Annual heartworm testing helps us catch infections early.
💊 Year-round heartworm prevention helps protect your dog from developing this dangerous disease.
Jones has been such a trooper throughout his treatment, and today marks an important milestone in his journey. We are incredibly proud of him! 🥰
Please remember to keep your pets on their recommended heartworm prevention and have them tested regularly. A simple test and monthly (or veterinarian-recommended) prevention can help save your pet from going through what Jones did.

BBBR Alum Webster update!

Adopter Makaela writes, "Just a little over two years ago, we brought home our Webby boy, and honestly, we can’t imagine our lives without him.

Since the day he became ours, he’s filled our home with so much love, laughter, and personality. He’s been to the mountains, explored the ocean, gone on little road trips, and made countless memories with us along the way. He absolutely loves his walks, gets the zoomiez on a regular basis, and keeps us laughing with all of his goofy little quirks.

He still loves spending time in his crate, although lately he’s discovered a new favorite place of comfort—under the kitchen table.

Webster is truly the best boy, and we are beyond grateful for him. Thank you to the Boise bully breed rescue for trusting us with this amazing dog and giving us the opportunity to love him. He has become such a special part of our family, and we are so thankful for every adventure, every cuddle, every zoomie, and every ordinary day with him.
