April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month, and at Baptist Healthplex–Anderson, we’re proud to stand in the corner with our fighters every single day. 🥊

Through our Rock Steady Boxing program, our boxers are battling back against Parkinson’s with strength, resilience, and community. For the rest of April, we’ll be spotlighting these incredible individuals. Each boxer will have a poster added to our wall and they provide their own boxer nickname.

Parkinson’s may be tough… but so are they.

Our first boxer we will highlight is Mr. Kells Parker. Mr. Parker said that his attendance to Rock Steady Boxing has "improved my ability to maneuver, I'm getting stronger and it's provided me with more stability for fall prevention."
