AMWA & AWS had so much fun at the Girls on the Run 5K event this morning! We got to represent ICOM and women in STEM while giving out goodies for correct trivia answers to participants!

Our PERIOD. Packing Party was a HUGE success!!! Can’t wait to donate these to local schools in need🫶🏻

Period Action Day (PAD day) is Saturday, October 12’th. All across the nation there will be rallies and period parties to educate the public and fight for abolishment of period poverty all across the world.

Join us on Friday, October 11’th for our own period party! All menstrual products are supplied. We just need helping hands :)

We are incredibly excited to announce our new leadership for this upcoming year! In order of appearance from left to right we have: Connor Morson (Vice President), Victoria Boczon (President), Christine Yang (Treasurer), Afsara Mannan (Secretary).

We have a lot of exciting volunteering opportunities, guest speakers and club collaborations in mind, so stay tuned!

Luci Schroeder is this week’s ! She is from Boise and attended the University of Redlands for undergrad. She loves to hike, travel, and play with her dog, and she is an avid advocate for animal rights 🐶 her future goals include becoming a mother and wife and participating in global medical mission trips. She chose to be apart of AMWA because she wanted to learn from other women about the challenges faced in this profession and how to raise a family during her medical training.
