💙 A Picture Worth a Thousand Words 💙

These two photos were taken at our Donuts with Grown-Ups event—Exactly on year apart.

Looking at them side by side is a powerful reminder of just how far someone can come when they refuse to give up.

The first photo captures a dad who was adjusting to a completely new way of life after a life-changing accident. The second photo captures a dad who continues to show up, keep fighting, and make memories with his family every step of the way.

What we see isn't just physical progress—we see resilience. We see determination. We see a family that has faced challenges head-on and continued moving forward together.

As educators, we are lucky to watch children grow every day. But sometimes, we get the privilege of watching parents grow, heal, and overcome as well. Seeing the difference between these two photos brought tears to our eyes and reminded us that progress doesn't always happen overnight—but every step forward matters.

We are so proud of this family and honored to be a small part of their journey. ❤️

At Ten Mile Academy, celebrating our local garbage collectors has become one of our favorite traditions each year. Our students love showing their appreciation for these everyday heroes who work hard rain, shine, heat, or snow.

For the past two years, Ms. Becky has been the heart of our kitchen and the reason so many little faces light up at mealtime. From nutritious breakfasts to delicious lunches and snacks, she pours so much care and love into every meal she serves.

Our children absolutely adore their Master Chef, and it's easy to see why! Ms. Becky is fierce, loving, hardworking, and an absolute joy to be around. She brings warmth, laughter, and positivity to our center every single day, making Ten Mile Academy a better place for both children and staff.

The kitchen is more than just a place where meals are prepared—it's a place where children feel cared for, and Ms. Becky makes that happen. Her dedication, consistency, and passion do not go unnoticed.
