The Meridian Food Bank is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to providing emergency food aid to our neighbors in need.

Our goal is to help anyone who is hungry and asks us for assistance; our ability to help is determined by the amount of food and money donated to us.

We will be closed Monday, May 24, for the Memorial Day holiday.
We will be back open on Wednesday, 12-4.

Last year, 79,057 people were able to benefit from a visit to the Meridian Food Bank.

And those clients came from communities across the Treasure Valley, with some coming from farther away.

In the West Ada School District, about 51% of the weekend food backpacks we prepare each week go to 13 identified Title I schools.

A $25 donation will help feed a student for six weekends.

One of our goals at the Meridian Food Bank is to ensure no child ever goes hungry. That's why we partner with Idaho's largest school district West Ada School District, to provide weekend food bags to students in need.

During the 2024-2025 school year, we packed and delivered 27,395 bags, for an average of about 780 students per week.
