⭐ Intern Spotlight: Chance

We asked Chance to reflect on his experience interning with AmeriTech Contracting this summer. Here’s what he had to say: 👇

Q: What was your favorite part about working at AmeriTech?
💬 “My favorite part about working at AmeriTech Contracting has been being surrounded by and learning from people with a plethora of knowledge who are willing to take their time and teach me the ins and outs of the field.”

Q: What was the biggest lesson you learned?
💬 “The biggest lesson that I learned is to be able to take feedback and actually use it. Making a mistake as an intern is inevitable; however, how you learn from that mistake is important.”

Q: What is one thing you learned that you’ll take with you into the real world?
💬 “Something that I learned that I will take into the real world is how to work hard. Being able to have the opportunity to intern at AmeriTech has been an honor. Being around people who are so dedicated and hardworking has pushed me to want to better myself and has shown me what type of company I want to work at when I graduate.”

Chance, thank you for all of your hard work and for spending your summer with us! We’re grateful to have you as part of the AmeriTech team. 👏⭐

⭐ Intern Spotlight: Nathaniel

As Nathaniel wraps up his summer with AmeriTech Contracting, we asked him to share a few takeaways from his internship experience:👇

Q: What was your favorite part about working at AmeriTech?
💬 “My favorite part was the workplace culture. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and willing to help, while still maintaining a clear standard of professionalism and accountability. I really appreciated that balance and being in an environment that pushed me to hold myself to a higher standard.”

Q: What was the biggest lesson you learned?
💬 “I learned how interconnected everything really is. Even though each department has its own responsibilities, everyone is ultimately working toward the same goal. Staying organized, communicating clearly, and making sure information gets where it needs to go may seem like small things, but they add up and help make projects and operations more successful.”

Q: What is one thing you learned that you’ll take with you into the real world?
💬 “I learned how important it is to foster and maintain strong connections with people across the board. Whether it’s employees, subcontractors, customers, or anyone else involved in a project, relationships really do matter. Being gracious, considerate, reliable, and enjoyable to work with can go a long way in both the corporate world and personal life.”

We’re glad you chose to spend your summer with us, Nathaniel. Thanks for being part of the AmeriTech team! ⭐

As we continue to recognize Purple Heart Day, we are proud to honor another one of our own, Carlos M., and recognize his service and sacrifice.

From 2002 to 2011, Carlos served in support of various operations during the Global War on Terrorism, demonstrating a commitment to service that we are proud to recognize today.

The Purple Heart is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by those who have been wounded or killed in service to our nation. Carlos is part of that honored legacy, and we are grateful to have him as a member of our team.

Today, we thank Carlos and all Purple Heart recipients for their courage, sacrifice, and service. 💜🇺🇸

Today, on Purple Heart Day, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who have been wounded in service to our nation.

In June 2004, during a combat tour outside Abu Ghraib, an IED blast forever changed the life of one of our own. After being medically evacuated and ultimately retiring from military service due to his injuries, Chris M. refused to let those challenges define his future.

Using the GI Bill, he earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering before continuing a career of service with the Department of the Navy for 10 years and the Department of Veterans Affairs for two more. His journey is a testament to perseverance, purpose, and the strength to overcome life's greatest obstacles.

When asked what receiving the Purple Heart means to him, he shared:
"It's a daily reminder of the sacrifices our service members make and the challenges war can create on a personal level...I'm extremely proud of the hurdles I've overcome to be where I am today."

He was pinned with the Purple Heart in Germany; his medal represents not only the wounds he endured, but also the resilience, determination, and unwavering spirit that continue to inspire everyone around him.

Today, and every day, we thank him, and all Purple Heart recipients, for their extraordinary sacrifice and service. 💜🇺🇸

It's another RED Friday: Remember Everyone Deployed

It's always fun to see the creativity our team brings to RED Friday. From bright red polos and sneakers to ties, hats, socks, and everything in between, everyone finds their own way to show support.

It's a small gesture that serves as a powerful reminder of the brave men and women serving around the world, separated from their families as they protect our freedoms.

So this Friday, throw on your favorite red, snap a photo, and help us honor those who can't be home today.

Remember Everyone Deployed. Every Friday.

Today we celebrate 251 years of the U.S. Army Chaplain Corps 🇺🇸

💡Did you know? The Army Chaplain Corps is actually older than the United States.

Established on July 29, 1775, nearly a year before the Declaration of Independence, chaplains have served alongside soldiers since the very beginning of our nation's fight for freedom.

For more than two and a half centuries, Army chaplains have provided spiritual support, counseling, and compassionate care to soldiers and their families through times of peace, conflict, and crisis. Their commitment to serving others continues to strengthen the force, one conversation, one prayer, and one act of kindness at a time.

Thank you to every chaplain, past and present, for 251 years of faithful service.
Happy Anniversary, Army Chaplain Corps! 🇺🇸
