Maria Campos-Harlow recently represented The Meriden-Wallingford Community Foundation to discuss journalism funded by philanthropy at two events: 1) Google News Initiative’s Community News Summit and 2) Local Media Association’s National Conference.

The Meriden-Wallingford Community Foundation and have formed a wonderful partnership to support the Latino Communities Reporting Lab.

Since 1997, Meriden & Wallingford Community Foundation has provided funding for cultural, educational, economic, health and human services throughout Meriden and Wallingford. Previously known as Community Foundation of Central Connecticut, our mission remains to encourage the creation of endowments to serve the Meriden and Wallingford communities. To help create a better future, our foundation addresses the charitable and humanitarian needs of the community by providing resources in perpetuity. Easily and effectively enabling individuals with philanthropic interests to support their desired cause, our foundation has become the backbone for a strong, vibrant community now and for generations to come.
