The CT Rainbow Gathering is a safe space for le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, q***r, and questioning individuals, as well as our allies.
The CT Rainbow meets on the first (1st) and third (3rd) Sunday of the month from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM (12 noon to 1:30 PM in the summer) for mutual support and discussions. The first Sunday of the month, the CT Rainbow Gathering meets at the Unitarian Universalist Church at 328 Paddack Avenue in Meriden, CT. Guidelines for Gatherings
The CT Rainbow Gathering has adopted the following guidelines to assure a safe space for sharing and fellowship:
* Listen respectfully
* One person speaks at a time/No side conversations
* Share with helping the group function well
* Respect each other's experiences and opinions
* No criticism, even in a joking manner
* If you don't like what is said or the way it was said, speak up
* What is said here, stays here
* You may pass on any topic
* You are not required to share your gender, sexual orientation, or other information.

Teen Safe Space
In collaboration with Women and Families Center and Meriden-Wallingford Chrysalis, UUCM/CT Rainbow Gathering provides a free and confidential Teen Safe Space for LGBTIQQ youth and young adults. The Teen Safe Space provides support and a place to play games and make friends, as well as rainbow giveaways and snacks. The Teen Safe Space meets on the last Thursday of the month from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at the Women and Families Center (WFC) on the third floor of 169 Colony Street in Meriden, CT. The meeting is held on the second (2nd) floor. There is a parking lot in the back of the building. Please enter the building from the front entrance.
