🚨 Don’t be fooled! 🚨

They’re lowering the mill rate this year… but only because property values went up. That means the city still gets more money this year!
Spending didn’t go down. Nope—it went up 4.6%.
Next year? Your mill rate will go up again. This is the same trick every year: make it look like savings, while spending keeps climbing.

💡 What we need: real spending cuts. Not promises. Not games. Cuts. Something the city hasn’t done in years!

Have you ever thought about being a candidate for public office? What would motivate you to run-or what would hold you back?

AFFORDABILITY: Democrats in the House today voted against exempting state taxes on tips & overtime, leaving Connecticut families waiting for real relief.

First responders, service industry workers, healthcare professionals, who are trying to put food on their tables and heat their homes, will just have to wait.

🚨 Election Integrity Matters 🚨

It has come to our attention that Democratic Board of Education candidate Migdalia Alicea has been escorting individuals into Meriden City Hall for voting and same-day registration voting repeatedly over the past several days.

Making this activity a violation of the 75-foot setback law (Sec. 9-236).

A formal complaint has been filed with the State Elections Enforcement Commission (SEEC) by the voter registrar.

Meriden deserves better — follow the law, respect the process, and protect election integrity.
