*Mocha's adoption fee has been sponsored by our friends at Another Shot Coffee Roasters!*

Meet our pretty chocolate colored girl named Mocha! Mocha is about 2.5 years old, and she is a sweet girl! She came to our facility after a young resident in town saw Mocha walking with a woman downtown who offered Mocha to them. They were told that if they didn't take Mocha, that she was going to be let loose to fend for herself. This resident took Mocha in for the night to keep her safe and then called us in the morning. From walking in our door, Mocha was a friendly and outgoing girl! She has a little extra weight on her, but with the right diet and exercise this could be worked on. She loves getting attention and she is food motivated. Mocha even likes wading around in our kiddie pools to cool off! She is looking for her forever family! Mocha is good with other dogs and she was non reactive in our cat room. She can go to a home with children 12 years old and older. She is spayed, rabies vaccinated, and microchipped.

If you are interested in adopting Mocha Please Email us at [email protected] for an application! Her adoption fee has been sponsored.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! Mocha is located at the Meriden Animal Control shelter at 311 Murdock Ave in Meriden, CT 06450. An application MUST be submitted and approved before making an appointment to meet our animals.

Meet our adorable and petite puppy boy named Zaza! Zaza is about 7 months old and he was surrendered to our shelter with his sister named Bambi. Their owners were very young and lost their housing. Zaza is good with other dogs and he can go to a home with children 12 years old and older. He is neutered, rabies vaccinated, and microchipped.

*PRETTY BRINDLE PUP LUNA IS LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER FAMILY!* PLEASE SHARE!
Email: [email protected]
Savingpawsct.org/adopt

*UPDATE ON SPECIAL NEEDS* After Luna was spayed, she began having bouts small seizures. Her blood work and xrays have come back fine. Our vet staff thinks she could have Epilepsy. We have started Luna on Phenobarbitol pills twice a day which seems to be working very well to control the seizures. There is a possibility she will need to be on this medication for the entirety of her life. In the future, her adopters may want to consider a neurology consult. Unfortunately, this is not something we can do as a municipal shelter.

Meet our silly young girl named Luna! Luna is about 8 months old and she was surrendered to our shelter after her owner could no longer care for her. She is a petite puppy right now, weighing about 37 lbs. She is likely going to grow, but we think she will stay a nice medium size weighing around 40-45 lbs. Luna can be a scaredy cat when she meets new people at first, but she is a very curious girl. She has a very goofy personality when she is comfortable! Luna loves to run around our backyard and middle room with hilarious bouts of zoomies! She gets a big smile on her face and goes back and forth. She is a fan of squeaky toys and has learned that she also likes to cuddle on couches. She will need a patient home that can teach her new things in the outside world aren't so scary. Luna is good with other dogs and we are told she is fine with cats as well. She can go to a home with children 12 years old and older. She is spayed, rabies vaccinated, and microchipped.

If you are interested in adopting Luna Please Email us at [email protected] for an application! Her adoption fee is $100.00.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! Luna is located at the Meriden Animal Control shelter at 311 Murdock Ave in Meriden, CT. An application MUST be submitted and approved before making an appointment to meet any of our animals.
