Meridian Lodge is proud to have supported the United Way of Meriden and Wallingford this holiday season through its holiday food drive.

What an enjoyable night we had celebrating the milestones on our Brother's Masonic journeys. We celebrated two 50-year, a 40-year, a 30-year, and three 10-year incremental awards with brothers this evening.

WM Tim invited the Grand Almoner to lodge, where he was accompanied by three district grand Almoners. We learned a lot about how the program functioned and the wide variety of programs the almoners service. RWB Gary Cohen spoke about his work in the district, and RWB Christopher Earle talked about his role as Chairman of the CT Freemasons foundation in supporting the almoners.

All of them collaborate to make a culture of kindness and caring throughout our jurisdiction. We were happy to have them in lodge tonight.

At Ashlar Village No. 332 the District Deputy was our current Master, who was also the last master of Center Lodge. He was in lodge with two other past masters of Center lodge, RWB Bruce Padula and RWB James Spencer, who is the most senior past master in Center’s lineage. We celebrate this happy reunion!

Our lodge was lucky to have Deputy Grand Master Shane visit us. His civil war presentation was well received!
