Getting some sunlight down to the ground to encourage the growth of native species, beneficial for wildlife, so we can create a prime hunting spot.

When you can’t see the forest through the trees, sometimes you have to get rid of all the invasive species.

Got about 3 acres of old CRP cleaned up. Just ready for some sunlight and hopefully some native grass regrowth.

Finally back at it. Little dirty, but a good time of year to get overgrown pastures back in shape.

I feel like if you ask most young boys what they want to do when they grow up, they will say “play with big equipment and light stuff on fire”. I think I’ve finally done it.

Nice foggy morning to start a clearing job.

We followed behind another contractor on this project who left some loose ends, for a while we have been going through and opening up water ways, making sure all the ditches were maintainable, and finished it off be seeding, mulching, and other erosion control methods.
