This Sunday at the MAC. Free for the whole family!

SUNDAY JUNE 28 - it’s time for Kids and Family Day at the MAC from 1:00 to 3:00pm. ARTREE Artist Lora Wheeler will show you how to decorate your tagboard boomerang with aboriginal designs. Join Lora for this free family fun afternoon where stories, games and boomerangs come together to inspire creativity. Learn how aboriginal Australians used boomerangs for hunting, games and ceremonies. All materials provided. This event is made possible by a grant from Merced County First5.

Highlights from the Merced Lao Arts and Culture Camp

What an awesome week at the Merced Lao Arts and Culture Camp at the MAC organized by the Vatthanatham Lao Foundation! The young campers showcased their incredible talent in a final performance filled with dance and live music on Saturday.

Cast list!

This was such an incredibly difficult decision. We want to thank everyone that auditioned, turned in tapes, and even showed interest.

As to the cast, congratulations and we will send word about next steps on Monday.

We are looking forward to working with Playhouse Merced to get Come From Away up and in the air for August.
