I had so much fun collaborating with to create this new Cobb-inspired bowl. It’s a delicious example of balanced nourishment with quality protein, healthy fats, fiber, and carbs.

This is the kind of meal I encourage my clients to build. A balanced plate with quality macronutrients that nourishes your body, keeps you full, and lets you enjoy eating without feeling restricted or complicated.

This bowl will be available starting Thursday, August 13th. Be sure to stop by and try it out! It’s the perfect post-workout meal or when you want a quick balanced lunch.😋🥗

Some common myths and habits we think are “healthy” are actually worsening the issue at hand, especially if you are dealing with chronic fatigue, blood sugar crashes, thyroid and hormone imbalances, or constant weight fluctuations.

A lot of the female clients I work with come to me already believing that eating less, cutting out carbs or fats, or relying on coffee to get through the day is the right approach. But what they often describe instead is feeling more anxious, more wired, constantly hungry, and still completely depleted no matter how “good” they are trying to be with food.

Over time, it usually becomes clear that it is not about discipline or confusion. It is about the body not getting consistent enough nourishment to feel stable.

👉🏻If some of these patterns feel familiar, DM “MYTH” and I’ll send you more information on my nutrition programs and how we work together to support metabolic function, balance hormones, and rebuild a healthier relationship with food without the fear and restriction.🌱

Digestion doesn’t need to be complicated. Most of the time, it comes down to simple habits we overlook every day.

Slow down, breathe, support your body, and give it the space it needs to do its job. Small changes like these can make a bigger difference than you think!

Don’t forget to save this for later. 😊

Something I see often with clients is how easy it is to overlook the basics.

We get pulled toward new trends, complicated protocols, and the idea that the next thing will finally be the missing piece. In the process, the simple foundations of health often get neglected.

But so much progress happens when people return to those basics.

Eating real food. Drinking enough water. Getting outside. Moving your body. Breathing. Sleeping.

These things can seem almost too simple to matter. Yet they are a huge part of helping your body come back into balance.

This is something we really dig into in my 1:1 programs. Many of my clients experience some of their biggest shifts by consistently practicing what most people think of as the “easy” things.

Not perfectly. Just consistently.✨

Wellness doesn’t have to be complicated, picture-perfect, or about the latest gadget.

True wellness can be:

- spending time in nature
- feeling the sun on your skin
- loving on your animals
- savoring a cappuccino with a little cookie (yes, it’s ok to have a cookie now and then!)
- enjoying colorful, nutrient-dense meals
- appreciating food for their beauty and benefits
- reading a good book
- picking up a hobby (I’m learning to crochet!)
- noticing the little beautiful moments in everyday life

This is wellness. It’s what I try to remind my clients of… and myself… every day.🌼

I’ve been seeing a lot of marketing of protein based products from bigger companies lately, especially drinks, cold foams, and “high protein” add ons. The general message of getting more protein in is positive, but what kind of protein, and in what form, matters just as much.

A protein cold foam or packaged protein drink is not the same thing as actually hitting your daily protein needs in a meaningful way. Most of them are still loaded with sugar, ultra processed dairy, and lower quality protein powders. They are built for convenience and marketing, not true nourishment.

When it comes to actually supporting your body and meeting your protein goals, quality protein still matters most. Think:
- quality meats and fish
- eggs
- organic high protein dairy
- plant proteins

This is what your body recognizes. This is what actually helps you build, repair, and stay balanced.

I see clients every day chasing supplements for low energy, hormonal issues, bloating, poor sleep. Most were told to just “take some magnesium” or another quick fix without anyone asking deeper questions or addressing what’s actually causing it.

Before any supplement, I look at what’s driving the issue. Digestion, nervous system load, blood sugar patterns, nutrient density, etc. If you’re not breaking down food properly or you’re running overstimulated and depleted, nothing else works. Skipping meals and low protein intake keep your body in constant catch-up mode.

Real healing comes from fixing the fundamentals first. Not patching symptoms, but addressing what’s actually creating them. That’s what creates lasting change.

👉🏻DM me “FOUNDATIONS” for more info on how to work with me to get real answers and support, so you can stop chasing symptoms and start reclaiming your health.🌻

In winter, digestion often slows. Not because anything is “wrong,” but because the body is conserving energy and responding to the cold.

This is why warm foods come up so often in the gut-focused work I do with my clients.

They’re easier to digest, more supportive of motility, and tend to feel better when bloating, heaviness, or sluggish digestion show up this time of year.

This isn’t about rules or cutting foods out. It’s about making small seasonal shifts that help your gut feel safe and supported!

👉🏻Swipe to check out some of the warm food options I suggest, and to get the free recipe I’ve provided! Don’t forget so save this post so you can make the recipe for yourself during these cold winter months😊❄️

The food pyramid changed, and it signals a bigger shift in nutrition. 🔻🥕🍏🥒 For the first time, guidance is emphasizing whole foods, fiber-rich plants, quality proteins, and less ultra-processed food. That is a meaningful step forward.

But even with these improvements, no guideline can capture what your body truly needs. Hormones, digestion, stress, and personal history with food all shape how you respond to what you eat.

Guidelines can inform, but they cannot replace listening to your own body. Paying attention to your energy, digestion, and how food makes you feel is where real clarity, trust, and lasting health come from.✨

That’s where personalized support from a nutrition practitioner like me can help you navigate eating that works for your body specifically!

👉🏻DM me “Pyramid” for more info on how you can receive personalized nutrition and lifestyle support!😊
