Commercial to***co is manufactured and sold for profit and can contain harmful chemicals and toxins that contribute to addiction and serious health conditions.

Understanding this distinction helps us respect Indigenous traditions while recognizing the health harms associated with commercial to***co use.

UC Merced scientists with the NCPC - Ni****ne & Cannabis Policy Center have successfully trialed new technique that tests wastewater to measure the use of ni****ne products selected communities. This research can help can strengthen public health efforts by supplementing surveys about ni****ne use with real scientific data.
