The Merced Theatre opened on October 31st , 1931 with the world premier of Local Boy Makes Good staring Joe E. The building was constructed over the previous nine months at a cost of $380,000.00. FRIDAY, JUNE 5, Movies in the Park will be screening CARS 3 for FREE!!! Movie starts at 7 PM, but doors open at 6 PM and believe me - you'll wanna be here for doors, especially if you like puppet shows! Starting at 6 PM you'll have the chance to enjoy a set of performances by the Magicbox Players, and you'll even have an opportunity to make your own puppet!
