📢 The Community Foundation of Merced County Grants Portal is now open! 🧡

Local nonprofit organizations are invited to submit funding requests for projects and programs that strengthen communities throughout Merced County.

Grant applications will be reviewed during the Foundation’s quarterly grant review meetings. Applicants must submit a complete application, including all required supporting documentation, to be considered for funding.

Very exciting day for the Merced Applegate Zoo!

Lead Zoo Keeper Josh Moreno spent time with ABC30 this morning, introducing Hydra the Ball Python and sharing details about the grand reopening of the Merced Applegate Zoo.

Join us as we celebrate this exciting new chapter! The grand reopening ceremony begins at 10:00 a.m. this morning. The zoo is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back!
