Happy National FFA Week from Merced County Farm Bureau!
This week we’re celebrating the incredible youth in our community who are part of the National FFA Organization and are shaping the future of agriculture through leadership, service, and dedication.
Pictured is current Merced County Farm Bureau board member and Past President Joe Scoto, who was a proud member of the Merced FFA Chapter. His involvement in FFA helped shape his journey in agriculture and leadership, proving that the impact of FFA lasts far beyond the blue jacket.
We are proud to support and celebrate the next generation of agricultural leaders right here in Merced County.

Yesterday, we teamed up with Stanislaus County Farm Bureau and hit the road to California Farm Bureau in Sacramento with several of our board members.
We had the opportunity to hear from CA Farm Bureau staff on key issues impacting agriculture, including water regulation, membership, energy, and more. We were also joined by Assemblywoman Soria, who shared insight on current legislation affecting the agricultural industry.
Thank you to the California Farm Bureau staff for welcoming us and for providing valuable knowledge as we continue to grow as advocates for agriculture.
