Attention volunteers. We have tickets for your entry into the fair. Pick up your tickets on Monday between 6p and 7p at the post. Thank you for you continued support of the American Legion and your community spirit to volunteer selflessly. See you Monday

The Post Commander was challenged by the SAL Commander to raise money for the Helmets for Heroes program to support the VA&R program. We are at the end of the year and ready to send in our donations. The Post raised $70.52. The Sons raised $139.28. The Sons added an extra $54 and were sending a total of $263.80. Way to go Sons of the American Legion. Let’s get started for next years donation. Want to help raise funds for Veteran Service Officers through the Helmet program? Just request a helmet to put in a place of business for people to add spare change. It’s that simple. Contact the office to get a helmet 209-722-0940. Leave a message if we’re not available and we’ll return your call as soon as possible.

Memorial Day ceremony at the Merced District cemetery. We had a great turnout. Thank you to our Master of Ceremonies Donavan Sizemore, Sgt Sunshine DeAnda USA, Danielle Lightner, CAP cadets , and the many others that participated. May we always remember those that have paid for our freedom with their lives.
