Hermanos Unidos was the name chosen for our Familia to serve as a reminder of our goals and of the need for our recognition. Although common roots and experiences bind us, we find strength and perseverance through our diversity and individuality. Hermanos Unidos will work towards strengthening our ideals by working toward becoming “El Nuevo Hombre”. Our motto is “Fuerza en la Hermandad” because th

👉🏽HERMANO OF THE MONTH 👈🏽 Jose Yanez aka Trippie Redd (swipe left). Trippie has demonstrated all aspects of what it means to be an Hermano. Through his involment in the 3 pillars and willingness to help out an hermano in need. Speech: “Hey everyone, I’m a 5th Year Molecular and Cell Biology Major from Pasadena, CA. When I’m not in school, I enjoy doing CrossFit and playing video games. Fun fact I have a research review article published. I am glad to have received this award because it demonstrates the hard work and dedication I have put into the organization over the years. I joined HU during my freshman year and seen the organization grow from a small familia to a really big one. Although I had wished to be very active prior semesters before this one, it’s a reminder that it is never too late to start showing the hermandad and setting an example for other hermanos by representing the 3 pillars. I will be graduating this December however, don’t be afraid to reach out to me if you ever need help or someone to talk to. Always remember to work hard and not give up by bettering yourself and the people around you.”
