In honor of Community & Climate Action Spring Break info sessions happening THIS WEEK, we’re looking back at last year’s trip with the Yurok Tribe. 🌱
Students spent 25+ hours supporting food sovereignty efforts on the reservation by preparing two community gardens and packing seeds for distribution within the community.
This year, we are expanding Alternative Spring Break to three opportunities:
🌿 Yurok Tribe: Food Sovereignty & Community Engagement
🔥 Altadena: Wildfire Restoration
🏔️ Yosemite: Environmental Stewardship
If you’re looking for a spring break experience rooted in service, learning, and community impact, join us at an info session this week.
All info session details are listed in our bio!

The Community Engagement Center welcomed 150 students during New Student Orientation for our Bobcats to Changemakers workshops! 🩵
Students learned about the CEC and discovered how service can create meaningful change. Together, they worked in teams to create tie blankets that will be donated to foster teens, providing comfort, warmth, and a reminder that their community cares!
We are incredibly proud of these new Bobcats for starting their journey with compassion and purpose, and we are so excited to deliver these blankets and provide a little comfort and warmth to foster teens in our community. 🥰
Guess the number but make it the leadership and service edition! Welcome back Bobcats! 💛💙
