"I knew I wanted to be in Ag since the moment I got to high school. The very first day we were signing up for class, I must have asked the woman helping me sign up more than ten times which class would get me to AgEd. Throughout my years, it has brought me so many opportunities for volunteering and education, getting myself exposed to working in real situations, learning and training on the subjects I love."

We’re heartbroken to share that we lost one of our own this weekend. Grace was a dedicated member of our chapter throughout high school. She was part of the dairy products judging team and the goat show team, and she gave so much of herself to AG leadership and her church community. Her presence meant a lot to so many, and she will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time.

🤍 LLG 🤍

Counseling services will be available tomorrow for students.

Last but not least for our officer introductions is our Chapter President Abby Mua!

Check out what Abby had to say:

What has FFA done to help you grow?“FFA has not only shaped me into the person I am today, but it has shown me who I want to become. FFA has helped me find my voice in this world, it has taught me how to connect with the people around me, and it has given me many opportunities to do the things I love.”

If you were a candy what candy would you be and why? “I think if I were to use a candy to describe my personality it would have to be sweet tarts ropes! Sweet tart ropes is a blend of sweet and tangy, which is how I can be! I like to greet others with a smile that's as vibrant as the colors of the twisted rope. Just like Sweet Tart Ropes bring together tartness and sweet, I can balance kindness and humility in the interactions I make with others making a great first impression on everyone I meet!”

Outside of FFA what is one thing you enjoy doing? “I have a love for animals, pigs specifically! On my free time I enjoy working, training, and preparing my pigs for county fairs, jackpots, and national shows. I love to travel and show at different shows inside and outside the state of California.”

What is a message you have for the chapter for this new year? “My message is to spread kindness and positivity this year! Imagine the impact we could make if we all took a moment to acknowledge someone's presence, offer a smile, or ask how their day is going. It's amazing how such small actions can bring people together and make a difference in someone's life.
I want to remind everyone that we're all in this together, and even the smallest acts of kindness can create an impact on those around us. Keep spreading your positivity and kindness to others!”

Thank you Abby for stepping up to lead this year!

Today for officer introductions is our Chapter Vice President, Lilee Hunter!

Here is what Lilee shared with us during her interview:

"FFA has helped me grow in many different ways such as helping me develop better public speaking skills, giving me the confidence to be more social around my peers, and last but not least it has given me all around leadership skills.

I would be a sour patch kid because I might come off a little sour at first, but I’m actually sweet and fun once people get to know me! I also like to keep things interesting!

Outside of FFA, I enjoy traveling and going to concerts. I love seeing new places and seeing all of my favorite artists.

One suggestion I would like to give to all members is to never take life too serious and don’t be afraid to try something new! 🙂"

thank you, Lilee for stepping up to serve this year!

Now we would like to introduce your Chapter Secretary, Gabriella Randol!

Here are a few things Gabby shared with us: "Being in FFA has helped me grow by giving me opportunities to work on public speaking and build connections with new people.

If I was a candy I would be a sour patch watermelon because it's the perfect amount of sweet and sour.

Outside of FFA I enjoy playing volleyball and spending time with friends and family.

A message I have for the chapter for this new year is to have fun and be involved!"

Thank you for stepping up to serve this year Gabby!
