June 21st at Applegate Park in Merced CA from 12pm to 5pm Merced’s annual Juneteenth Festival honors the contributions Black culture has given the world. Celebrated on the anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation’s full enforcement nationwide, constitutionally ending slavery. There will be food, fun and entertainment for the entire community to enjoy! Juneteenth Festival has been approved by the Merced County Public Health Department and is supported by the City of Merced.
