Less is more. Long before I started my coffee journey I went to music school for drumming/percussion. Being young and eager to showcase my skills behind the drum kit I was always ready to pull out all my chops from the bag any chance I got. During a live class performance with the band I thought I was killing it playing everything I got, after the song my mentor tapped me on the shoulder and said “less is more joe, just listen” and walked away. Changed everything for me. Now I implement that philosophy into everything I do and create.

If you love soul music you must give this a listen and if you haven’t heard of Kelly’s work please go dig and find everything he’s worked on he’s a great musician singer songwriter and producer. He creates from the soul and it shows through his music.
