Life as a Bobcat with Leslie Aquino!
Hear Leslie's inspiring journey to becoming one of the top runners and scholar-athletes in program history. She hold's our women's 800m, 1500m, and 3000m records and helped lead the the Bobcats to conference championships in the final year of the Cal Pac era. Before committing to be a Bobcat, she moved from Mexico to the United States and became the Valedictorian of East Bakersfield High School. Paloma Ramirez left her legacy at UC Merced, finishing top ten in UC Merced Women’s Basketball history in multiple statistical categories and is one of just three Bobcats to play in 100 games. Tomorrow, she will debut with Hayward Reign in the Womens Premier Basketball Association.

Life as a Bobcat with Daniel Del Grande!
Del Grande, who finished his UC Merced career ranked top ten in program history with 131 blocks and a .328 hitting percentage, helped lead the Bobcats to a pair of Cal Pac Championships in 2024 & 2025 and then elected to return for a fifth year to compete in the NCAA and MPSF and enroll in UC Merced’s Teacher Preparation Program.
