In their efforts to expand their love of books to young readers, the Mentorship Branch of the Homestead Honors English Society (HEHS) visited Donges Bay and other elementary schools in the district to read books to elementary school students.
“[HEHS has] partnered with Kids Campus, which is their after-school program, and we bring picture books based on a theme each month. And we read to them and have a mini discussion after,” Sarah Heller, sophomore member of HEHS, said.
We would like to express our appreciation for all of your support for the Highlander Publications account over the years. We are beginning to transfer to a new Facebook account to better suite our program. Please go and follow the new Highlander Publications Homestead Pubs account for all of our same content! Starting today at 3:30, we will be live broadcasting the Girls Basketball game with play-by-play commentary! Tune in on Facebook live on the new account!
