A question we get asked on the daily…! How do I know what filler to use on my wood floor? 1. Nail holes & Butt joints: use a non shrinking wood putty. This comes in a range of colours to match your floor. Can usually be found at your local hardware store. 2. Small gaps (1-2mm wide): use Berger-Seidle AquaSeal Pafuki. Usually found in parquetry floors, commonly glued to the sub floor. Mix with reserved dust from the sanding process to get a perfect colour match. Trowel onto the floor and sand off once dry. 3. Large gaps (3-15mm wide): use Berger-Seidle AquaSeal PakStop. This product is FLEXIBLE! Designed to move with your floor’s natural expansion and contraction. The liquid must be mixed thoroughly with the matching coloured powder. Trowel on and sand off once dry. Now you know!
