Oh Padraig, you will be missed. This handsome boy appeared randomly at the barn as a standoffish ferel cat. He made me work very hard to earn his trust. I was finally able to pet him, barely, on what happened to be St Patrick's Day. That what inspired his Irish name. A few short weeks after that initial petting, he suddenly accepted all affection and attention from humans. It was like he just decided we were worthy of him! 😅 He was an unusual guy with some strange habits but he was very loved. This morning he was exhibiting serious medical issues, hind leg paralysis. He was immediately taken to the emergency vet where they discovered he had significant heart disease. Padraig had a huge heart, literally. He was peacefully euthanized while his best buddy Javier stroked his head. Padraig and Javier had a special bond. It is a very sad day. Rest in peace "P.P."

Butters is a Super sweet, pleasure type mare. Can be ridden Western and English. Great walk trot and trail horse. Very smooth and comfortable gaits. No spook, no funny business. Great for handling,grooming, and lounging. Once a week lesson required. Pm for more info.

Fun day with group pole lessons!

We are looking to add a few people to our crew at Willow Run Stables! We need help with both am and pm chores on weekends and week day shifts as well. Shifts are fairly short and chores are all done as a team, so it is efficient, well managed, and a great part time job. Clients and horses are all a very wonderful group! We are looking for applicants with some horse handling experience, who are reliable with attention to detail.
