Pack a rubber for your EDC. Rubber bladder for another save.
We can get these D.E filter grids damn near perfect without taking them apart. The more you take them apart and play with them, the earlier death they'll have, and it will probably be at the most inconvenient time.
With cartridge filters, you never really get them 100% perfectly clean either.
I love the standard, often exceed it when I can, but taking filter grids apart seems like an unnecessary task when getting a good tip in and being very thorough while cleaning is sufficient. Just my 2 cents.
