The Healing Studio is a private, one-on-one physical therapy practice owned and operated by Krissy Chin, PT, MSPT, specializing in hands-on physical therapy and John F. Barnes Myofascial Release. Krissy and her team provide individualized care for patients dealing with everything from sports and orthopedic injuries to chronic pain, mobility issues, and rehabilitation.

We love getting the opportunity to work with healthcare professionals who are committed to helping people live healthier, more active lives, and we’re grateful they trusted Frontline to help keep their staff prepared to respond in an emergency.

Twenty-five years ago today, our country experienced a day that changed America forever.

For an entire generation, September 11 is now history—not a memory. They never watched the towers fall. They never felt the uncertainty, fear, and heartbreak that swept across the country. They can only learn about it from those of us who were there to witness it.

And that makes remembering even more important.

We have a responsibility to pass down the stories of the people who ran toward the danger while everyone else was trying to escape it. The firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and ordinary Americans who showed extraordinary courage when it mattered most.

343 FDNY firefighters made the ultimate sacrifice that day.

Their lives ended, but their legacy did not.

We remember the men who climbed those stairs knowing they might never come back down. We remember the families who waited for a husband, father, son, brother, or friend who never came home. We remember every person who answered the call, and every person whose life was forever changed by what happened that day.

And we remember those who survived but carried the physical and emotional consequences for years afterward.

September 11 should never become just a date in a history book.

It should remain a reminder of the courage, sacrifice, unity, and resilience of the American people.

For those who gave everything: we remember you.

For those who continue to carry the scars: we honor you.

And for those who weren’t here to remember, may we continue to tell the stories so the courage and sacrifice of that day are never forgotten.

🚒 CPR CLASS vs. AHA CERTIFICATION — Know the Difference! ❤️

Did you know that taking a CPR class at your local fire department doesn’t automatically mean you’ll receive an American Heart Association (AHA) certification?

Many fire departments offer excellent CPR education to help members of the community learn lifesaving skills. But if you need CPR certification for your job, license, school, or clinical requirements, make sure you know which certification your employer requires BEFORE you take the class.

If your employer specifically requires AHA BLS or an AHA Heartsaver course, you’ll need to complete the appropriate AHA course through an authorized AHA training provider/instructor and receive the corresponding AHA course completion card.

At Frontline CPR & First Aid, we provide American Heart Association training and issue AHA course completion cards for successful completion of the appropriate course.

Yesterday I had the privilege of providing CPR training for the team at Neurobloom TMS & Psychiatry.

As a first responder, I’ve seen firsthand how mental health struggles can impact individuals, families, and entire communities. That’s why I have a tremendous amount of respect for organizations like Neurobloom that dedicate themselves to helping people navigate some of life’s toughest challenges.

Their team combines innovative treatments with genuine compassion, creating a place where people can find support, hope, and a path forward. Whether it’s through individualized TMS therapy or psychiatric care, they’re making a real difference in the lives of those they serve.

We often talk about saving lives in emergency medicine, but there are many ways to help people. Sometimes it happens in the back of an ambulance, and sometimes it happens in an office like this one through patience, kindness, and expert care.

Thank you to Dr. Cox and the Neurobloom team for allowing Frontline CPR Training to be a small part of what you do. It was an honor to train with professionals who are so committed to the well-being of others.
