Marbre Rouge 303 opened the week. Vanilla Exotica kept it going. Vanilla 01 just showed up uninvited and I let it stay.

Then Umbra Oud and Oud Nacre came through for the plot twist. Dark, woody, zero apologies.

Gleam Kensington for the days I wanted to feel expensive. And that candle? Non negotiable background character.

Chabaud Maison de Parfum LA NUIT DANSE

This is what a bo***ir smells like if the bo***ir belonged to your most glamorous French auntie.

Bergamot opens things up, then violet, rose, heliotrope and jasmine move in soft and hazy. But the real main character here is the rice powder base with vanilla, tonka bean and sandalwood. Think baby powder’s more sophisticated older sister.

It’s creamy. It’s powdery. It’s the kind of scent you wear when you want to feel expensive without shouting about it. Longevity genuinely surprised me, this one sticks around.

Not for you if you hate powdery scents. Obsessed if you’re into vintage leaning yet very in season, cosy, skin hugging florals.
