'Bots of Another Color' introduces robotics to high schoolers with Autism Spectrum Disorder The new robotics program will compete for the first time on March 1 as part of the Northern Lights regional competition at the DECC.

At HIA, we do things a little differently which is why we did Staff Appreciation this week! Our amazing Lead Therapist, Stephanie, won this jar of candy and a gift card for having the closest count of candy! Congrats Steph!!

To all HIA staff - we know how challenging being in this industry is and we understand the struggle is REAL! But you wake up every day and come to work with a smile on your face with HIA's mission in mind, and that is to enrich the life of our kiddos and their families. More indoor activities to try:

-Take up an indoor sport, such as basketball, indoor soccer, indoor flag football, rock climbing, or volleyball
-Have a dance party or follow along with a video or tutorial. Play musical statutes or the FREEZE! Game.
-Have everyone pick their favorite songs to sing or dance to
-Go to a bowling alley or indoor swimming pool
-Find an indoor sensory gym or playground
