Synchrony Bank no longer wants to work with older customers that do not have a smart phone cell phone on file, unless you are willing to send them a minimum 5 second video of yourself with both the front and back of your driver’s license clearly showing, with no blockage of any personal information, to prove that you are who you say you are. And yes, without a smart phone that means they are willing to accept the video to be texted to them from a total stranger’s phone, which they will then put that number on your file as a contact number……. In Short Synchrony just STOLE my 41k in points and does not give a DAM about my 24+ year history with them.

Today Synchrony Bank MY BUSINESS CREDIT CARD locked my account AGAIN. 4 weeks ago, we went through this with Synchrony Bank, and I will not do this again. This time AGAIN they can’t tell me why my account has been restricted; they will not allow me to use any of my 41 thousand points. However, what they request this time again, is, AND I’M NOT MAKING THIS UP:
They want a minimum 5 second video of myself with both the front and back of my drivers license clearly shown, with no blockage of any personal information, to prove that I’m who I say I am.
PayPal / Synchrony Bank two UN-AMERICANS They HATE AMERICANS, AND OUR CONSTITUTION. They restricted my account and can't remove the restriction unless I RE-verify that I am who I say I am. They even told me that I was the one that requested the restriction. I use this account for my small business and now have to call all my bill and change the on line payments. Not to mention they took all my points over 400K worth of points. I have had the account going all the way back to the early 90's. They keep requesting that I update my information so they can increase my credit limit. I keep telling them NO I'm fine. I don't carry a balance so why do I need an increase.
