We provide free, gently used clothing to all in need. The Community Clothes Closet has been serving disadvantaged families since 1980.
Since that beginning, the Community Clothes Closet, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, has been collecting and distributing clothing, blankets, towels and household items to people in need, who are referred by other social service agencies such as the St. Joseph’s Food Program, Leaven, and over 60 other human service agencies. Our clients are able to meet their clothing needs while using their limited income to meet other primary necessities such as food and shelter.

After nine years of dedicated service, Executive Director Lisa Jones has announced she will be stepping down at the end of September. We are deeply grateful for Lisa’s leadership, vision, and commitment to our mission.
During her tenure, Community Clothes Closet expanded services, nearly doubled revenue, launched the award-winning Traveling Closet program, and strengthened our ability to serve thousands of individuals and families each year.
As we begin the leadership transition process, the Board of Directors is seeking our next Executive Director. We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition and continuing our mission without interruption.
