Auto-Owners Insurance has brought its Catastrophe Response Team to Menasha to support policyholders affected by the tornado, severe winds, and widespread power outages.

CAT team members are available at two locations:
1. McClone Insurance | 150 Main Street, Menasha
2. Luigi’s on Doty Island | 332 Ahnaip Street, Menasha

The team can assist with:
• Filing a new claim
• Answering questions about an existing claim
• Explaining what to expect during the claims process
• Coordinating property or vehicle inspections
• Discussing immediate needs and available options
• Issuing short-term claim checks

Public Wi-Fi is also available through Starlink at both locations for those who need to charge devices, check email, contact family and friends, connect with employers, or access important information.

The CAT team will be available until 4:30 p.m. each day for the next few days.

Please bring a photo ID and any photos or videos of the damage, if available.

Please share this information with anyone who may need it. Some of those most affected may still have limited access to cellular service, power, or email.

Our hearts remain with everyone impacted by the tornado in Menasha and the surrounding communities.

Many of our team members, neighbors, and community partners are looking for ways to help. Right now, local emergency response teams are still assessing the damage and identifying where support is needed most.

For those who want to volunteer, Volunteer Fox Cities has created a Tornado Volunteer Standby List. Signing up allows local organizers to contact volunteers as specific needs are identified.

We are also sharing a resource guide created with the help of one of our own team members, who experienced the devastation of a tornado last year. After months of recovery, research, and conversations with others, she generously shared the resources that were most helpful to her and her family.

Some of these resources may help immediately. Others may become more important in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Recovery is a long process, and support is often needed well after the initial emergency response has ended.

One important place to start is the American Red Cross. They are helping individuals and families with immediate needs, including shelter, essential supplies, and other forms of assistance. If you have been impacted, take the time to speak with them and complete the assessment process, even when the first few days feel overwhelming.

We can all help by:
• Sharing this guide with someone who has been impacted
• Helping a family member or neighbor complete applications or make calls
• Joining the volunteer standby list
• Continuing to support local businesses and families throughout the recovery ahead
