The service mast that is attached to your house is the homeowner’s responsibility.
If it is damaged, you will need an electrician to repair it before we can restore electricity. Here is a list of electricians in the area.
Update 7/29/26 9:15pm - Progress has been made to restore the downtown area except for First Street.
**PLEASE avoid the areas where our utility crews are working. These are dangerous areas and it is delaying their work with power restoration when there is congestion with vehicles and pedestrians. Thank you!
We have had an amazing outreach of help for our utility workers that are working countless hours to rebuild the electric distribution lines.
*Thank you to Kunes Chevrolet for dropping off food and beverages to our office on Tuesday.
*Thank you J&E Construction for dropping off 2 loads of gravel. This will be put to good use with installing all the new poles.
*Thank you to Payment Service Network for providing our utility workers with lunch on Wednesday.
*Thank you to WIDC and The Bar for raising/donating all the funds to bring The Wandering Table to our office on Tuesday to feed all utility workers and the community.
Our hearts are full of gratitude. Please continue your patience with restoring power.
Update 7/29/26 7:45am - Power has been restored to some sections in Menasha. In these areas we will be coming through and connecting individual services to homes that are down. Please check your meter and overhead connection. If it is not connected to your house or broken, please contact an electrician to fix.
We are still rebuilding lines and replacing poles in the harder hit areas. Please stay out of the utility workers way for safety.
Tornado Update 7/28/26 8:55am - Over 11 other communities have arrived to assist with power restoration. Right now we are working on getting the lines cleared and services cut to the houses. This needs to be done to be able to rebuild the lines. Contractors have arrived to assist with the transmission lines into the substations.
We are still looking at several days yet since the damage is unprecedented.
Water service was connected to the City of Neenah since our plant is not operational.
Please be patient as our crews are working non-stop to restore the City. Thank you!
