Good afternoon, Carver Cobra Family. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in the Fellowship Meeting at George Washington Carver High School on May 16th. The meeting began with a meaningful worship session, followed by a roll call of attendees. During the meeting, we highlighted the achievements of our membership drives over the past year, which have resulted in over 90 new alumni memberships and generated over $4,500 in revenue. Our collective commitment to teamwork has been the driving force behind our success. As we move forward, please note that the Alumni Association elections will be held in August. If you are interested in running for any of the following positions - President, Vice-President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, or Membership Enrollment Chairperson - please contact me. To be eligible, you must be a current member of the Alumni Association. Additionally, please save the date for the Carver Alumni Picnic, which will be held on August 29th at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Park and will be hosted by the Alumni Association. We are excited to announce that we have secured a larger venue for the 2026 Red and White Ball, which will take place on Saturday, December 12th, at King Palace Event Facility, accommodating up to 400 guests. I would like to commend those who repurchased tickets on Saturday, resulting in $4,440 in ticket sales. Kenneth Lee provided an informative demo of the upcoming Carver Alumni Website, a project that was conceptualized in 2025 and is now becoming a reality. You will receive more information regarding website registration tomorrow. The meeting concluded with a prayer. I am grateful for our progress, and I look forward to a bright future.
