Part 2 of our campsite setup series. We’re going over how we hook up our power and internet.
This is just the systems and items that we have found work best for us over the years!
We’ve been camping for years and never thought to use a water flow meter for our RV tanks. It’s a super simple way to know exactly how much water you’re using in your tanks!
We use it when flushing them and when filling them since we only like to keep 10 gallons in our tank when traveling to cut down on weight.

We’ve got 700 miles to drive this weekend and most of it is through Texas 😵💫 let’s start getting this camper prepped and ready to go!

My camera roll after a 3rd week in Texas.
We visited the Alamo and the San Antonio river walk, explored downtown New Braunfels, feel in love with historic Gruene.
And did some really Texas things, baker got a branded cowboy hat and I was introduced to Big Red.
Living full time in our RV we are always cooking on our Blackstone but cleaning out that rear grease trap was my arch nemesis.
We stumbled across grease cup liners and haven’t looked back, these make clean up 100x easier and now I can enjoy a good Blackstone meal without dreading the clean up!

Did you know you can dump your RV tanks at home?
A macerator pump grinds up all your waste and pumps it through a hose directly into your clean out or toilet.
You obviously want to have a dedicated hose for this & believe it or not, not all homes have clean outs.
We use ours when we have been boondocking or moochdocking and don’t have access to a dump station.

I’m not sure why we thought spending part of the summer in the desert was a good idea but hopefully we don’t melt.
We are taking multiple precautions to keep our RV cool this summer and one of the easiest ways is these vent/skylight covers.
Comment COOL for the 🔗.
How often are you sweeping your campsite? Or do you use a leaf blower to blow it off?

| if you’re looking for the perfect stop near San Antonio Treeside RV Resort is this place to be.
The campsites are spacious and big rig friendly offering open or shaded spots nestled on a tree lined creek.
The amenities provide a little something for everyone. With a family and an adult only pool, a bbq area with yard games and even a fitness center.
So I can watch the sunset in every state, of course.
