We could not do what we do at Opera Memphis without all of our AMAZING volunteers. Join us on August 13 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at our OM HQ to celebrate our amazing volunteers. 📣ANNOUNCEMENT! LOCAL SINGER Auditions dates for our 2026-27 season have been set!📣

August 18 & 20, 2026, from 4 PM - 9 PM at Opera Memphis Headquarters at 216 S Cooper St., Memphis, TN 38104.

What to prepare:
Prepare and memorize 2 contrasting songs (aria, art song, or classical musical theatre song), but we may only hear one.

For principal or comprimario role auditions only, please also bring your resume and list of selections. If you do not have a resume, there will be space provided on the application for you to list previous experience.

An accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music. If you prefer, you may bring your own accompanist.

Chorus auditions are for ages 18 and up. If you will be 18 by the time of a production, you are eligible.
