Our rescue has raised over $660 towards our van repair goal, thanks to the generosity of donors and our hard work. We're just $900 shy of our $1580 target. With your help, we can reach our goal and get our van back on the road in time for our weekend transport, when dozens of animals will find their forever homes. Please consider donating today!

Transport of our and other rescue dogs is the key way that we are able to place animals across the country, saving lives and getting these wonderful dogs and cats to their new families.

The only way we can do that is reliable transportation. Over the last months we have spent thousands of dollars repairing air-conditioning, tires and brakes and other systems within our Mercedes sprinter, which is only two years old. We would like to continue our mission but we need your help yet again today we’ve had an injector issue with our Mercedes sprinter that is just out of service .

What a difference a few days makes our little boy now known as Holmes is absolutely precious. He is playful and loving, and we are so happy that we welcome into Misfit Mutts!!

Isn’t she the cutest thing ever. We are excited to welcome her to our clan. Her foster mom says she is really crushing potty training and very sweet.

This girl will need to be spayed and have a couple more round of vaccinations. She is available for pre-adoption. Apply today.

PUPDATE - Parvo negative. So we are now vaccinated, dewormed and a nice kibble in this cute soon to be full belly!!

This morning while out for a drive I noticed a sofa sitting on the roadside with a moving cushion.

I drove past and thought about it for a minute - I had to go back. Beneath the cushion I found this precious one. Every bone in his body is visible but his spirit seems strong.

He was near Elvis Presley and not far from Holmes road - so what should we call him? Elvis? Presley or Holmes?

We know that he will need all the vetting things and this morning as a precaution I’ll take for a f***l and parvo test! Better safe than sorry.
