It’s found in the late-night kitchen conversations, splitting a random snack, or just sitting in the same room working on separate projects while completely content in each other's presence.

Having a spouse who truly understands your rhythms…someone who knows exactly when you need a laugh, when you need space, or when you just need a sounding board after a heavy day…is an incredible gift. We constantly learn, grow, and adapt together as a team. Striking that balance where you can be entirely yourself, flaws and all, makes the journey through life feel so much more grounded.

I’m kicking off my day right after a great morning walk with a fresh, homemade breakfast smoothie. I am loving this colorful Taco Bell shirt today, and having a cold smoothie on a warm day is exactly what I need to power through my to-do list.

Supporting your children through their creative passions is one of the most rewarding parts of parenting, especially when you see their hard work pay off on stage. 🎶🎺✨

My son had his final band concert tonight after spending an incredibly intense week at band camp. I’m honestly so amazed at how he performed. Tonight’s music selection was by far the most advanced piece he has ever taken on, and it was incredible to see him rise to the challenge so beautifully.

To make the evening even more special, I learned tonight that he was the absolute youngest band member in his entire performance group! Watching him hold his own alongside older students after just one week of preparation filled me with so much pride. It takes an incredible amount of dedication and practice to lock in a performance like that, and seeing his growth firsthand is just the best feeling.

This summer camp experience has been such a massive confidence booster for him. I already can’t wait to see how he continues to thrive in concert band once school starts back up in a couple of months! 🏫❤️
